There are four models: Basic, Advanced, Deluxe, and Custom.
Basic - Simple shots, no adjustments. Quick target release. Advanced - Like Basic but has an adjustable Voice Delay. Allows a slower release. Deluxe - You pick two routines that you shoot. Custom - You can pick up three routines or design a routine that you want to shoot.
For each model there are three versions of the Autopuller: T is for a single machine, Trap (wired or wireless) S for double machines, Skeet (wired or wireless) [can also be used to trap] SC for Sporting Clays -- same as skeet but 6' cord (wired only) [can also be used for skeet or trap]
After the initial set up, operating the Autopuller is simple. Connect your unit to the target machine. Plug the microphone into the side of the Autopuller. Turn the unit on and adjust the sensitivity for your pull. Then arm the appropriate machine by simply pressing one or both of the top mounted machine button(s). Now call for your target. For the times you are with a companion, arm the appropriate machine and on their call, press the manual button to release their targets. | | | LOAD |

All models are designed to release a target on your voice command, along with having the ability to release a target for a companion shooter. Besides the external microphone adjuster, there are two more internal adjustments that you can make. One is for microphone sensitivity and one is for machine signal. This allows you the ability to configure your unit for any target field.
If all you want is to release a target at the sound of your call, the Basic (APB) model is what you want. It has no frills, just a simple release.
The next model up, Advanced (APA), allows you to delay the launch. This is the Basic model with an adjustable target delay.
The Deluxe (APD) is an upgraded version of the Autopuller Basic with the addition of two routines of your choosing! This allows you to "design" your unit for your type of shooting. Read through the following list of 8 routines available and select the two that work best for you.
- Instant – this function bypasses the voice command totally. Instant is the same as your existing pull head, press a house button and the target is released.
- Voice delay – adjustable by you. This adds a delay to your call equal to a normal puller. The delay is preset to approximately .5 seconds from when you call for the target and when the target is released.
- International delay – this adds a random delay from 0 to 3 seconds from when you call for the target to the target release.
- Time delay – adjustable by you. Turns off the microphone and launches a target after a preset time.
- Following pair – for when you want two targets from the same house. You select the house to use. At the sound of your call, a target is released. Since the machine needs time to recycle, the APD pauses for up to 2 seconds, then releases your target on the report of your gun. If your first target was shot in less than the recycle time the APD will hold the release and launch the second after the recycle time is completed.
Routines 6 and 7 are available for Skeet or Sporting Clays only - Report Pair – for this function you select the house you want to release at the sound of your call. At the report of your gun, the opposite house releases a target. The second target may be delayed for up to 1 1/2 second to allow you time to acquire the target.
- Random – the APD has two arming buttons on the top, one for high/left and one for low/right. The random mode scrambles the buttons. You may receive a high, low, or double at your call.
The following routine is designed for Trap only - Rearm – this mode automatically rearms the Autopuller 4 seconds after your shot. Keep in mind that your unit will always be armed and waiting for a call. You may have to adjust the microphone sensitivity to minimize false targets.
The Custom (APC) model gives you the maximum flexibility of any of our controllers. With three routines, you can tailor your practice on a daily basis. All of the deluxe routines are available with many having extra benefits added.
- The international delay is adjustable and allows you the ability to duplicate a bad puller. By setting the time to 1 second or less, you now have the same as a puller who isn’t paying attention.
- The random can be set to select only the high or low, or all 3 combinations, high, low or true pair.
The rearming routine allows you to select which target you want to continually practice. Along with the deluxe routines, an additional routine available is: - sporting clay following pair – the controller releases the first target at your command, pauses, then launches the second opposite target
The custom model has one extra feature, programmable automatic cancel of routine. The standard cancel time is 30 seconds. This is designed to prevent false targets and is a form of a safety feature in case you accidentally press one of the arming buttons. If a target is not called for during this 30-second time, the sequence is canceled. The custom model lets you set this time to 30 seconds, 60 seconds, or infinite. You decide how you want your unit to reset.
CONNECTING TO YOUR MACHINE Both the wired and wireless will have to be connected to your machines. This means you have to disconnect your existing pull cord, and connect either a long cord for the wired models or the adapter cord for the wireless models. We do not supply the connector for your machine. You are responsible for obtaining the correct connector and connecting it to the new cord. We do have a supply of two of the common styles, so you may save some time by investigating what your machine is presently using, then make a single purchase for everything you need. We do not recommend using a standard household type connector on our units. If someone other than yourself were to use your puller, they may inadvertently plug the unit into an outlet and cause a failure.
Systems Both the wired and wireless systems use the same Autopuller. The only difference is the wired has either a 2-foot or 6-foot cord attached, where the wireless has a transmitter built in. Except for the connector, everything you need is included in the purchase price.
|
All wired Autopullers use your existing pull cord. You will need to either remove the pushbutton head from your cord and install connectors on the cord and the original head or supply a new cord. Some shooters have opted to use an external grade extension cord in place of modifying the original cord.
The only items you will need to purchase extra is a connector to match your machine and a connector on the end of the Autopuller and one on the extension cord. Since there is a variety of connectors you will need to identify the correct connector to your machine, purchase it and attach it.
The wired system contains the Autopuller, and all necessary-supporting components. Since you will be supplying the long cord to your machine, the skeet model comes with an attached two-foot cord. You’re responsible for attaching a connector to both the Autopuller and your cord. The sporting clay model is equipped with a 6-foot cord. You only have to attach you connector, and your ready to walk the course.

The wireless system consists of the Autopuller with transmitter installed, the receiver and all necessary-supporting components.
The biggest change in this system is the receiver, which was designed to make your shoot as trouble free as possible. The front panel contains 4 lights that inform you of the status of your unit. A power on indicator, a data light indicating a signal, and high and low lights to let you know which target machine is being activated. Inside the battery compartment, there are switches that allow you to set the auto off (30 minutes, 60 minutes or never), and to adjust the machine signal. By adjusting this signal, you can control all electric machines, including foot switch operated models. Two fuses protect both the receiver and your machine, in case a mistake is made during wiring.
The receiver is available in two configurations. The standard supplied receiver has one 3 wire outlet and was designed to be connected in place of the standard skeet pull cord. If you have two separate trap machines, and want to keep them electrically isolated, we now offer a receiver that has 2 outlets. (There is no extra charge for substituting the 2-outlet receiver). Each machine has its own outlet, which keeps both machines separate. Both the 1-outlet and 2-outlet receivers will work with a single trap machine.
If you would like the 2-outlet receiver, please note that in the appropriate space on the order form. The standard 1-outlet receiver will be shipped if no notice is given.

| APFlurry The APFlurry was designed to be used with two machines to release a sequence of targets. The sequence is preprogrammed while the time between shots is adjustable from 1 to 6 seconds. At the time you place your order you will need to specify the sequences. You will then have the ability to select from single target, sequence of 20 targets or a sequence of 30 targets. This unit releases targets at a time interval and has no provision for voice control. Installation is the same as the Autopuller. |

API/I
API/I was designed to allow you to switch between normal pull cord operation and International delay option. The unit is simply installed between your existing pull cord and the machine connector. Your pull cord operates as normal until you select the International mode. In this mode pressing one release buttons starts a random 0-3 second timer. When the time is reached, the target is released. This allows you to concentrate on the shot and not on the timer. Since you will be using your existing pull cord and head there is no provision for voice control.
This model is perfect for an instructor or someone who wants to perfect the International shot.
